We're commanded, encouraged and persuaded throughout the word of God to fellowship one with the other. We're to love the brethren, submit to the brethren, not fight with the brethren, sell your property and give to the brethren, but yet, we're not... What happened to our love? Why can we go sunday after sunday and never take out the time to go see about one another? Do we think that God would get mad at us if we shut down services one day and attend service elsewhere? Not services out of town, but maybe right down the street from you. Why are brethren attending services at their own ministries, giving their tithes and offerings, special offerings, first fruit offerings, auxillary dues, breakthrough offerings, sacrifical offerings, and building fund offerings, but yet, when they ask their ministries for help with food and clothes, members have to go down the street and around the corner just to get help. Why? Because they've been told no at their own places of worship because the church is not a welfare agency. If we're the light of the world, has the switch been turned off and no light bulb to be found? The discussion is open to one and all. What happened to the love? What happened to the fellowship? What happened to working together to tear down the enemy's kingdom? If Christ walked down Bradley Ave (where most of our churches are..) would He be pleased? If your answer is no...what happened to the love??? We welcome all thoughts and opinions.
